The foundation of care
The Stewards Log
A secure, living record of your home.
What it is
Your home, fully known.
Before a single cloth is lifted, we walk the whole home. Systems, surfaces, mechanical, air and water quality, and signs of wear or aging. What we find goes into the Stewards Log: a structured record of your home's condition, written down and kept current from that day forward.
It's a systemic understanding of your home, held by the people who care for it.
The Log is what separates a cleaning appointment from a partnership with stewards. We know how the HVAC was last serviced, which contractor you trust, what we noticed under the sink in March, and what to watch before the first freeze. That knowledge belongs to you. And it deepens over time.
What we document
Six categories. One complete picture.
Systems & Mechanical
HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances — what's running well and what's showing age. Last service dates and what's due.
Filters & Batteries
HVAC filters, air purifiers, smoke and CO detectors, thermostats, doorbells — recurring maintenance items tracked and flagged before they lapse.
Maintenance History
Every service, repair, and upgrade logged with date and detail. A permanent record of what was done and when.
Trusted Partners
Contractors, specialists, and vendors you've approved — so we never recommend someone you don't trust, and always know who to call.
Observations & Watch Items
Things that aren't urgent yet but shouldn't be forgotten — wear, changes in condition, and items to revisit next season.
Preferences & Standards
How you like things done — cleaning preferences, access notes, temperature settings, special instructions. Carried forward on every visit.
How it works
It begins on day one. It never stops.
The initial walkthrough
Before regular care begins, we walk the whole home with fresh eyes. We document what we see, ask what matters most to you, and open the Log. This walkthrough typically takes 60–90 minutes and sets the foundation for everything that follows.
Every visit adds to it
After each appointment, your stewards team records what was done, anything noticed, and anything worth watching. Over time, visit entries layer into a running history of your home's condition — patterns emerge, and nothing slips through the cracks.
You stay in the loop
You receive a summary after every visit. If something needs your attention — a service due, a concern spotted, a decision to make — it comes to you directly, clearly, with our recommendation. You decide; we act.
The Log belongs to you
The Stewards Log is your record, not ours. It's the accumulated knowledge of your home — transferable, portable, and genuinely valuable. Homeowners who've had it for years describe it as one of the most useful things we've given them.
Why it matters
The difference between reactive and present.
Most homeowners find out something is wrong when it's already expensive — a leak that's been quietly growing, a system that should have been serviced six months ago, a repair that a little earlier attention would have prevented.
The Stewards Log is the tool that moves a home from reactive to present. Not because we catch every problem (we don't), but because we see the whole home, visit after visit, with the context to notice when something is changing. That steady awareness is what makes the difference.
It's also what makes the partnership real. A team that knows your home — truly knows it — is a fundamentally different kind of help than one that shows up, cleans, and leaves. The Log is the record of that knowing.
